Hey, Before you toss your hard disk int the freezer, please provide the type and place of use, server, PC and laptop hard disks require different treatment. by any chance, is it one of the hard disks that you buy from local shops, hitachi or seagate that have an O.E.M designation. This mostly high capacity disks have a high failure rate. some of them do not even outlive their short warranties. which shop stocks authentic parts guys?
