Hi All,
CCK is organizing a workshop on CIRT establishment to be held in Nairobi from 21-22 November 2011. The workshop will focus on actualizing the establishment of CIRTs and will therefore aim at providing tangible guidance/strategies that will assist in the setup and operationalization of national CIRTs. Topics range from an overview of cybersecurity frameworks, the role/services of CIRTs, regional collaboration, capacity building/awareness, PKI and new/emerging technologies (cloud computing, IPv6, etc).
We've invited both international, regional and local speakers, with a number of speakers from the local infosec community.
Please send your *name* and *email address* to cirt@cck.go.ke if you'd like to participate. Had sent this message last Thursday but somehow it didn't go through. We have 10 slots remaining though.
Regards,
Vincent Ngundi
