I have gotten close to 8mpbs (high 7's) with my Turbo 8 but only at off hours (like 4am).  The bandwidth is shared so it depends who else in your neighborhood is online and what they are downloading.  I have definitely noticed that lately in the evening my speed has dropped drastically compared to a few months back but it jumps back up after 11pm.

I am not at home so I can't ping test but I am sure that with my Turbo 4 I
get the same speed that Brian with his Turbo 8; and that guys on Turbo 1
get the same than us !!
