I'd like to hear what @Adam Nelson has to say about this. CCK's move is the perfect example of a loser mentality. Instead of facing the emerging challenges head on, which requires more resources (brain power, money, excellent leadership) and is much more risky, they chose the easy way out. Easy for them. I believe the internet space is one of the few markets where the provider must know they are competing against the world, not just the region. And I believe once they reach like 70% of what the 'big shots' offer, it wont even require CCK to make customers to host locally.
