I hope adding the above subject line will not offend iHub. I&#39;m adding<br>
an idea to this list that has been in the corner of my mind for quite<br>
a while since I worked on <a href="http://chekelea.com" target="_blank">chekelea.com</a> and hope it may bring others<br>
together on a common platform. If the project ever came together, I<br>
think will be the next biggest thing that happened to all those in the<br>
web/mobile industry. It will bring together domain registrars, hosting<br>
ISPs, web developers, web owners, mobile developers, gateway<br>
developers and financiers. Building Kenya&#39;s E-Index is all about<br>
e-stores and m-stores/sites but with a difference. A quick index of<br>
all kenyan stores/sites that have services/products to offer. The<br>
index will be web and mobile driven. E &amp; M sites will pay a small<br>
annual amount or none at all to be listed in the Index. The project<br>
can offer a standalone solutions and support for webmasters, web<br>
owners, mobile developers and device integration while the finances<br>
look at creating the awareness, drive and business. E-Index will offer<br>
a one stop fully integrated product/service to clients. The business<br>
targets have to bring in at least 100-300 sites per month.<br>

I&#39;m keeping it short and as soon as have time available will post more<br>
info/thoughts . In the meantime, get those thoughts going if you think<br>
the project is possible because it cannot work with any individual<br>
attempts. It need a big team effort and the results should be equally<br>
rewarding. Kenya&#39;s web, infrastructure and a lot of tech related items<br>
is at a point where it can only move forward and in the direction not<br>
seen before. I share this with a passion that there are people who<br>
share a passion in seeing things move ahead. This idea is skunks tech<br>
public property so incase no one picks it, feel free to tap into it.<br>
