Thanks for the idea, unfortunately I don't have a machine which uses IDE on my network and I need to backup the drive because it has started to fail. It is for an old printing technology which even uses floppy disk and drive and it has no USB Drive!

You know when IDE disks were lastly sold? This one might shock you with that click of death very soon. The earlier you get rid of it the better:-)
