Is that the same reason Nexus 4, Lumia 920, etc have non-removable batteries? Assuming you'll use this phone until the battery starts becoming inefficient, what do you intend to do? Sell it, or get a battery replacement kit from where you sourced it? I had to do that for my Nexus 4, but I'd love to have a phone which is not allergic to Discovery Batteries which are available locally:) The storage is not an issue though. The sealing of the battery is a blessing .. in case someone dunks it in water. It is simply meant as a safeguard to make the phone more durable. The battery aside, Moto G is the best phone you can get at that price. I own one, and I love it. The only down side may be the lack of a micro-sd slot, especially for those who save lots of stuff on phone - but can you really exhaust 8gb or 16gb ?
