Those are my exact thoughts on the MBA - it won't replace a laptop for you. 

Or in a slightly different context, I think most Kenyan/African techies who own a MBP use it as their primary machine, their workhorse computer. The MBA can not (and I think it is not intended to) replace this machine. The MBA is a 2nd machine, much like an iPad. Which one would you choose for your second machine?
