Is it that most people don't know about the Opera browser or that they think it is only for mobiles? A quick look at this page show that Opera not only matches but has more features than IE, Firefox *and* Chrome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_web_browsers I guess if you look long enough you will find a report in your favour, but I am assuming that Wikipedia is pretty much neutral. So, anyone care to guess as to the reason for various browsers popularity? Herd mentality maybe (everyone says it is great....)? Just wondering.... (And yes, I use Opera [?]) On Sun, Nov 18, 2012 at 9:01 PM, Tusker 21 <tusker212@gmail.com> wrote:

Hello folks!
I will be in a panel in Singapore later today where my role shall be pointing out the various 'myths' about internet in Kenya and generally the global south.
I would like to request for pointers and direction to some other handy info to paint a clear picture about this.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Stephen. _______________________________________________ Skunkworks mailing list Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke ------------ List info, subscribe/unsubscribe http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------
