Hi all, <br><br>I have a a dilemma guys, i have done my research on the net and still cant get the exact response that i need.<br><br>We all know that sharepoint runs on the .NET version 3.5.....so what would happen if i installed .NET 4.0 on the server??<br>
<br>1. would it replace and upgrade the .NET 3.5 already installed?...and if it did would it affect sharepoint negatively? I would guess not since am just doing an upgrade<br><br>2. would I be able to run different .NET versions on the same server, and just use different application pools in different web applications in IIS????<br>
