Onlist we share on how to improve data and
information systems. Fine tuning data collection
methods and conversion to information. Sharing
some frustrations on its security here and there.

But how does the guy who sits on all our that
information feel? All the SMS we sent, the calls
made (recorded if wishes), emails courtesy of
Deep Packet Inspection technologies

Massive data mining; whom you often call, why,
your date, cash-flow, debts, land-lord, your
personality traits, etc. Does s/he get the kicks
reading what you wrote, to who, about what?

Kenya relies on very weak KCA(1998) e-privacy
law provision, so the guys pretty have much room
to play around with your information.

Been promised a copy of proposed Data Protection
Law. Would you like me to share it once the ministry
of information gives it to me? It' d be in skunkworks
participation in policy making/law/implementation.

But I will have to secure it first,, you know..

Regards

Alex
