On an earlier thread I mentioned (on upgrade to Ubuntu 9.04) forced to
boot from an older kernel to successfully run " modprobe usbserial
vendor=(HEX) product=(HEX) ('HEX' representing wireless usb device's
vendor and product hexadecimals).

That said, you realise mobicos are supplying Windows drivers
(firmware) pre-loaded on the devices usb themselves. When plug it in
computer reads device as 'mass storage' media.
