Well tried to help myself but couldn't, had to share this from a friend, (1) Did a job, agreed quote [50k] a DB and a website (2) Finished the job, the lawfirm wrote a contract on which the pay was 30k. (3) Pal->What about the 50K we agreed upon?, lawyers-> we never had a contract on that. (4) Lawyers -> take it or leave it 30k cheque is ready after you train us. (5) Pissed he trains vowing never to do this kind of job again (6) After training -> here is your 27k cheque ->we paid 10% to KRA on your behalf. Well this story is so real and so kenyan.... Guys I guess we should all know how to protect ourselves not so much from other business owners but those who seemingly seem to fight for rights (this was a firm that deals with 'human rights of soughts').
