Just to add something interesting my grand father told me on this subject: If you take the branch of an Orange tree it somehow bends when it's some meters (I think even 10 meters) above a mass of water flowing underground. One can even judge the depth of the water. I also saw an article in the newspaper a few months ago about an old man using wires to locate points to drill water. I believe it was the Nation newspaper. Perharps if you contact Nation they can put you in touch with that guy, alternatively my grand paps is available 8~) --- On Wed, 9/30/09, David Kiania | Asentric Consulting Ltd <kianiadee@gmail.com> wrote: From: David Kiania | Asentric Consulting Ltd <kianiadee@gmail.com> Subject: [Skunkworks] Hydro Geological Services To: "Skunkworks forum" <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> Date: Wednesday, September 30, 2009, 6:08 PM I am looking for pointers from anyone who has any experience in contracting and engaging firms for a Hydro Geological Survey. I have a client who's interested in drilling a borehole in Isinya and I understand a Hydro Geological Survey is the starting point. The key considerations are : - ~ Professionalism. ~ Cost. ~ Speed of execution and ensuring all paperwork is in place. ~ Above board I look forward to your valuable input.
