Great eye opener there on the E series. I have been working with the Asterisk PBX for a while now and can gladly spare some time off my 'busy' student and hustle mode to set up a SIP endpoint for you on the said PBX. With the service providers, you wont get very far esp Safaricom. They have a good NOC with a poor customer care policy. Cheerz n God bless! Guys,
Anyone selling Wireless SIP (IP) phones?
Let me know and the price.
As JohnDoe said, Nokia E series do support SIP (they have built-in SIP client), but you need a provider to offer the services. You can as well be your own provider if you run an IP PBX that can act as a SIP endpoint.
Else - tell us what sort of solution you had in mind when you initially posted this.
