@Ndungi true one should try modprobe card=<card number> tuner=<tuner number>. That said, I was hoping there was an easier way of going about it, guess am going to pull an all nighter on this. :( @Great Minds...The TV card works very well on windows XP but I have to move it to linux now....as indicated in the ealier email, the TV card driver is a Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Video Capture (rev 11), Xcess TV tuner using My TV software on windows.
