Use a DSLAM if you intend to run an ADSL infrastructure. Depending on the scale of the service you are intending to roll out. DSL offers your service on a pair of copper cable. What do you mean by level one for edge networks ?? When would it be recommended to use an IP DSLAM..?????? thats the big question .
