Any idea who's using R? I know equity had training on this but not sure if they actively use it.
For SAS, get someone from Safcom to advice.
For individual users, you can go for the SAS Enterprise Guide but for collaboration purposes you will need to include the server.Alternatives; you can consider IBM SPSS or Stata. R is also an option if the users can roll up their sleeves and get coding. On Tue, Sep 15, 2015 at 3:49 PM, Eva Kimathi via skunkworks <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:Hello All,My employer has a research department and they asked me for assistance in procuring SAS 9.4 . I am not conversant with it and went online to look it up.>From SAS website, it seems like it is at least a three tier system (server to end user). My queries:
- Is there anyone out there that has interacted with SAS?
- Does it scale down or should I also include a server along with their request?
- Are there alternatives that are not as large scale as SAS?
I look forward to your response :)--__________________________________________________________________________
