Paypal is from the US and thus Paypal cannot legally transact directly with Kenyan banks, the Equity service is actually via bank in South Africa. Until our banks/financial institutions are allowed to transact directly with companies in the US, this will never happen. Regards, John K. Hi! Sorry I am not about to help you but I have a question for the ninjas here...
Now that Mpesa has an api and PayPal has an api, shouldn't someone be working on an efficient Mpesa-to-PayPal and PayPal-to-Mpesa service. My experience as a techie has taught me that if you do something more than two times in the exact same way, AUTOMATE IT!! There seems to be many people asking for this service.
Apart from regulatory barriers, what could be stopping this?
