I also decided to go for the cheapest package since I get local station in digital when I need to watch them, plus news (Aljazeera, Bloomerg, CNBC, CCTV and BBC). My only great loss is NatGeo and CNN but its not worth the extra cash. I don't care much about sports and I can always get the movies when I need to elsewhere. DSTV is very shitty and I have decided to do without DSTV for one month or two... I know I'll miss the sport though... I hope Canal+ (the leader in French-speaking countries in Africa) will soon launch their new satellite so that Kenya is included in their Indian Ocean cover (Madagascar; Reunion, Maurice); but I know DSTV will do everything possible to block this.
