Thanks guys for the information.

The solution will be just for one Macbook, a printer and charging a phone. It will NOT be for lights (Macbook backlight, but do I say :-), nor for TV or any other household appliances.

80k is a little ways out of my budget range, so I assume an UPS. So APC, EATON and Sollatek.

Is there a rough guide I can use to know which one I need between 600, 800 or 1000? Also, I wouldn't mind knowing the prices of each

Hey guys,

Which UPSes do you use at home?

My area has started experiencing regular blackouts, just about the time I wanted to setup a small home office...

I would appreciate all your recommendations
