I've been using ini_set for including PEAR packages all along; I had a slight domain change, and using the very same piece of script on the same server, the include path just can't be recognised at all set at! It's crazy... Anyone encountered this?
Perhaps ini_set has been disabled on the hosting machine ? usually this is done through the disable_functions option in php.ini ... some hosting providers do this per vhosted domain ... maybe you need to talk to your hosting provider about this ....
