And I also tend to think that putting a newspaper online should encourage people to click on a story and post comments and so on.
Therefore having this flat, unfriendly and non-interactive ePaper takes us back to the stone age when the caveman used to draw animals on the cave's walls so that his fellow cave men could come and look at the drawings without much interaction.
