For techies interested in deploying NFC solutions, check out the new host card emulation (HCE) capabilities embedded in Android 4.4. Basically you wont need a Secure Element to store payment credentials http://developer.android.com/about/versions/kitkat.html 

Could be very interesting for the future of mobile payments.
