We could say that indeed employers are spoilt for choice in certain areas, but not all, especially ICT.
That is why most companies especially the ones abroad outsource to India and China and some parts of Africa .......
I have had the chance to help a very short list of employers find programmers, and they struggled to fill the position, leading to my theory that; there is a stark shortfall of good programmers in Kenya.
I fully agree. Good to _*G**reat*_ programmers are hard to find, not only in Kenya.
Experiment: If your boss (if you have one :-) asked you to find someone equally good or better than you at what you do, to come work with you under the same terms you do, would you find one?
I might but I do not think it would be too easy (and I do not imply that I am *that* good, probably just lucky ..... )

I also think it could be because of the population rise in our country and the increase of more literate people among us, especially those who reach the University level of education.
