hi folks
i have a safaricom modem that is unlocked and every time i connect an
orange modem it disconnects after 2 minutes...
is this common when a modem is unocked and does one enjoy the 3g
speeds on a unlocked modem but using orange 3g lines?
Guess what im asking is whether the 3g network speeds is dependednt on
the modem or the subscriber network......
i have an e220 modem...will it pick 3g speeds of an orange line?

Wallace,

3G is 3G whether in earth or heaven.
Any 3G-enabled device should work with any 3G network as long as you meet the conditions that allow you to connect - SIM card, credit, etc
