Can someone on the list can tell us how other implementations of ePapers have been done...for example, how has Rupert Murdoch done it? Are they replicas of the real thing?
Daily Nation has a subscription-based replica version that's delivered to your email every morning, but for a fee. IIRC you can read it online in frames, you select the page you want and it's displayed exactly as it's laid out on the hard copy. I think you can also download a pdf of the entire paper or particular pages. I found it really good. They use some system called PressMart for that. The reason my memory's a bit hazy is because I subscribed only once, specifically to read a friend's obituary, I was told she'd passed away on my way to the airport outbound. Works well when you're out of KE and you want to get a feel of the real thing. BR S -- This message represents the official view of the voices in my head.
