Mine's just become active.. It's like a hybrid between twitter and facebook in that you can follow guys (like in twitter) and you can post updates (think of them as tweets or status updates on facebook) or even post photos which your followers can "Like" and comment on. I think this is a smart move by Google, especially compared with Orkut.
BTW, I read somewhere online last night that Yahoo has been having Yahoo! Buzz for sometime. Too bad they never publicized it like Google has theirs. M$ was also trashing Google Buzz saying that they have been providing the same service to MSN users for a while now. To be honest, I think M$ and Y! are kinda jealous. I stand to be corrected though... it's just a feeling I have...
