[Skunkworks] PCI-E 1x EThernet Adapters - Sad Story

That there is no single entity in Kenya stocking these, yet there are thousands on PCs that come with PCI-E slots is quite disturbing. Is it just that there is no demand for them, or the PCs are just so stable that the on-board ethernet cards never failed for anyone?
