The guy supplying installation media gives you the wrong image (x86 or ia64 instead of x64, or worse still a different distro)

both scenarios, you'd have to send the boda boda again!

 

I guess it comes down to personal choice, if you want to download - go ahead, if you want to catch a plane to get it from North Carolina in floppies, i guess you can go ahead, if you want a CD from a friend, go ahead.

 

Free software isn't it? (as in freedom of choice)
