I must say it has been a lot of fun watching Apple fan-boys frothing and getting bent out of shape. I'm curious to see what tricks Cupertino has on June 7th ... It is interesting that your post is the only one on Skunkworks-KE regarding Google IO, Facebook f8, or Twitter Chirp. Is it that devs in Kenya find these happenings to be largely irrelevant to "our daily bread", or is it just that these discussions are happening elsewhere? Curious... saidi
PS FWIW, it wasn't a secret that 1 Infinite Loop would get into mobile... that was known way before the iPhone launched. Talking of which: did you know the "revolutionary" iPhone design wasn't quite that? Check out these two links: the first one of an LG phone pre-dating the first iPhone; and the second of an open-source phone (OpenMoko, now defunct) with full multi-touch support also pre-dating the iPhone (the illustrations are eerily familiar). I guess innovation is in the eye of the beholder ;)
