I use <a href="http://www.linuxmint.com/">Linux Mint</a> 10 which started as a spin-off of Ubuntu but has also grown and has a Debian spin to it and is available for download in GNOME, KDE, XFCE &amp; LXDE desktop versions . <div>
<br></div><div>I liked it first because it comes with all the audio-video codecs that most Linux distros have a restriction on ( Fedora etc, you have to do a post install for them) Other than that the Gnome version has an interface that is very accessible and the necessary applications to get you up and running straight after install, i&#39;m saying this because I do very minimum customizations after installing. </div>
