Without persuasion from Aki I have decided to hold off buying an ipad (which was on my must get shopping list). Main reason being, I will instead put my money on android for my tablet, as the best solution going forward. Inspite of being somewhat disappointed by my HTC Hero, I am still convinced that android will take over both tablets and cell fones. There are two amazing products that have proved very innovative and price friendly. Take a look at this: - Notion Ink's Adam http://www.notionink.in/ which will retail for like US$ 320 Samsung's Galaxy Tab (google for the link). I am a sucker for Samsung and as and when they make shirts I will adorn myself with some. They have this amazing display technology called AMOLED have a look at the Samsung Galaxy S fone (wooow). Granted the Apple 'kool factor', I don't think this sufficient to sink $700+. Cant wait to get especially the Adam.
