Hmmm, I wonder if is this a worthy question. Alienware m11x, hands down...<br><br>Obviously even if you use it mostly for work it will be amped up...if you&#39;re a developer think of how many VM sandboxes you can run simultaneously...if you&#39;re into CAD...question&#39;s answered...if you&#39;re a media enthusiast...you&#39;ll be converting in a breeze. GPU power counts!<br>

<br>If your intention is bootcamp for your gaming then you lose framerates to the m11x. Scratch that, if you&#39;re comparing running apps on windows on both machines you&#39;re way better off with Alienware. Only drawback I see to the m11x is the fact that it doesn&#39;t have an i7...but rumours are that there might be an updated m11x sometime this year with new Nvidia &amp; Intel chips...<br>

As with all things, it depends on what you want to do with it! Code? Play games?<div><br></div></blockquote></div><br></div>Both, it will be my main work machine, coding at least 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Movies, music and occasional gaming. Occasional here meaning like 3 hours per week :-)<br>
