still haven't read it but thot the much malaligned media bill had provisions that gave legal safeguards to e-transactions. i think local banks are weak (lacking[?]) in i.t visionaries. co-op, for example, routinely ignores emails sent to them, takes 4 working days to clear local bank transfers, won't bank non-kenyan cheques (eti they would send them abroad and the banks "wouldn't return them and customers would complain"), niendelee ama nisiendelee...
