I dint have my PIN so that was what I was registering for, but I went to KRA offices n the lady there told me to do the whole thing online, but ignore the parents name thing on the first page after that you are good to go, coz their system queries the Registrar of Persons records and your folks names' will certainly come up. 
I think for existing taxpayers I think the form is differnt, havent tried it though!

Honestly speaking, I did not stop to think about KRA having my details from the Birth Certificate. So once I tried my mother's first name, it allowed me in. I am shocked. Is it that I ignored some press release about this system?

I went into "Fill in Tax Return" and amongst the drop down list, which has one redundant option anyway, I could not find one which matches my "tax obligation" (Individual).
What does one select under such a circumstance, madam from TESPOK??
