I'd be more interested to hear from both parties though I have come to the conclusion that this was a hostile takeover from foreign investors aided by some local non-black Kenyans.
I hope angani, with it's current management, burns to ashes, and Phares and Brian, with the support of local techies spin a new platform that it's success will have the so-called investors gnashing their teeth.
You look and listen at all this mess and cant help but wonder. I know neither Phares Kariuki, Riyaz Bachani or Brian Muita in person, but i have seen Phares atleast respond here/on the whatsapp group. The only person I've interacted with at Angani happens to share a surname with their CEO-she's Tabish Bachani. Habing said that, Riyaz Bachani could be a CEO and quite busy to respond on lists and groups but the absence of such responses-if you ask me, his(and his team) is a classical case of impunity-that attitude of 'Either my way or the highway and we owe no one an apology'. In the spirit of collective responsibilty both as a society and as a profession, such people should belong elsewhere not in professional groups. We must go back to the days when morals, ethics and discipline were a society responsibilty. Abit radical but its OUR opinion not yOUR opinion.
