The particular brand of "human rights activists" Kagame is riling at baffles me:
Back in 1994 when 10000 Rwandese were being butchered in yet more creative ways each day, the then US Secretary of State , Madeleine Albright, explained away their lack of involvement by pegging it on the fact that the Rwandese situation did not fit the UN definition of 'genocide' - based on certain technicalities. This was while the press was awash with images of such horror that cannot be reproduced in a movie. Now that the killings have been stopped and there is calm and peace in Rwanda, they have suddenly grown a conscience.
IMO, Kagame should only take a lecture from those who fought side by side with him.
Rather off topic remarks I know, but I couldnt let this pass.
