[Skunkworks] WordPress barebones template

Hi all. I come in peace. Is there anyone on the list that can direct me to a good bare-bones(blank) wordpress theme template that is easy to manipulate? Please include a bit of your experience with the template as well. Yes, I have googled, and found a couple but since it is a bit of unfamiliar territory, I'd be more comfortable with someone to point me in some direction.
