Thanks for the feedback, clearly we're not doing a good enough job with messaging in the app.

Short answer: we use your phone number as your identity key

Long answer: our vision for OkHi is that you can securely share your saved addresses any time someone asks for your address. Think of it as an address passport.

Imagine checking out on the Jumia website, rather than having to fill in your long delivery address and instructions every time, you just key in your phone number and OkHi password and can then select which OkHi address to send the goods to.

Or, maybe you're calling up for KFC delivery. KFC already have your phone number so all you need to do is give them permission to view your OkHi addresses, say "home" and that spicy hot chicken will be delivered to your door before you can even finish describing directions of how to get to you in the old school way!

Thoughts? Are these compelling use cases?

Great app I must admit.
Why do I have to provide my phone number?

Joseph, thanks so much for trying the app, apologies that you weren't able to create an address.

We pushed a fix yesterday evening that will hopefully help your problem, can you check that you have the latest version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.okhi.app

If not, it would be great if you could update the app and try again.
If you do have the latest, would it be possible to send me your mobile no so that I can call you and try to debug the problem?

Thanks again for your support,

Timbo

Hello Timbo,
I installed the app on my Nexus 4 but unfortunately it couldn't go past 'finding your location'.

Otherwise the interface looks great and hope to try it out again soon.

Regards,
Joseph.

I would love your help by downloading the app from: http://goo.gl/1mnE2v

Also, please send any thoughts, comments, feedback directly to me.

Thanks so much for your help,
