I dint have my PIN so that was what I was registering for, but I went to KRA offices n the lady there told me to do the whole thing online, but ignore the parents name thing on the first page after that you are good to go, coz their system queries the Registrar of Persons records and your folks names' will certainly come up.
I think for existing taxpayers I think the form is differnt, havent tried it though!

I have a PIN (for many years now) but would like to get a password to enable me to use KRA's online services.
Did you key in your mother's name, by any chance, since that is marked with (*) ?
