I also bought a Nexus phone cause I got tired of tinkering with Android  and flashing custom ROMs and stuff.

A plus for iOS should be the ability to change your default search engine - try the same on Android or Windows Phone.

Yes, you can use it out of the box without installing anything, I can't, coz I will want to tinker with it and install anything I want - thats the difference, thats why I'd rather iOS which I cant tinker with and have it work. I have even stopped jailbreaking my iOS devices for this same reason.

From my personal experience, you spend more time "installing anything" than using the actual phone. I'd rather I can't "install anything" and use my phone - IMHO

Btw, this is the prime reason why I ditched Linux on the desktop - I used to spend 70% of my time trying this and that and only 30% working - Very very bad for the employer.

Well, you are free to install anything on Android. Here, people don't depend on some adult somewhere telling them what they can install and what they can't.

The only limitation here is the tech IQ of users. Most users do not understand their way around technology and trust those adverts from the Russians asking them to scan their phone by installing some shady app.

@William - I guess these are Android (aka 3rd world) problems, hehehe - My iOS has never 'seen' an antivirus.

People install anti virus on phones? Doesn't it really make sense or just a windows hungover?
