Have the time when this happens, you are probably connecting them to switch ports which are assigned to a different VLAN - check your switch configs :-)

I have a /27 to assign to my list of linux VMs hosted under KVM hypervisor. Challenge is, they are all throwing the error " Error, some other host already uses address xx.xx.xx.xx" whenever I assign an IP to a host.
None of this IPs is assigned anywhere in the network. Any one experienced this before? How did u resolve? There is no much info on google.
