ehhh...@ Derrick.... ...just for the record, I do not work for Google...I just posted here to see if anyone knows about this beba card...if this has created some publicity for beba, then well and good, but my post was definitely not a stunt... On a different note, yesterday I got a demo from one of the trainers and I think this is a very good initiative...the app on the smartphone is very very very easy to use and I am sure the conductors will find it easy to use...the NFC makes even easier. One person who will be happy is the matatu owner since there is no physical cash that can be stolen by the conductors. One person who will be kinda sad is the conductor, since there is no physical cash to steal.
