white listing without putting enough measures will land you into the
blacklists again and again ...and some of them for good.
Follow Alex's advice above. On number 4, you can block port 25
access(the spambots use this to send spam) on all the LAN clients
except for the mail server.
When you are sure no more spam is being sent, then you can go ahead
and white list.
