Victor,
Has anyone before created a standby database from Windows to any *nix platform? Windows being the primary db and *nix being the active standby. Helpful ideas are welcome. Thank you. NB: in Oracle 11g.
Oracle do not support such an arrangement. Look at the requirements and you will see that stated explicitly. You either stay with Windows or switch to Unix
