Linux Mint comes with all the Codecs. There is a codec pack you can install for linux though, probably simpler than downloading mint, reinstalling? Mint is based on Ubuntu. I have 6, Felicia, if you need a copy.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

Hi skunks,<br><br>Ave just installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my system but am kind of dissapointed at its support for different media formats. . . <br>Thought ad be able to play most if not all of the movies and music types that I have. . .had to download them. . . .anyone have an alternative linux  based OS that I can try out. . . .
