We use Avaya Aura Communications Manager (aka ACM).
Why? Because of the features it offers. It's an enterprise communications system.
It competes with Cisco "up there", so you can imagine:-)

I forgot to add that Avaya ACM (and IP Office PBXs) use Avaya Digital and IP Phones, but also have support for analog phones by way of analog extention chassis.
