Can someone on Safaricom Internet link tell us how this issue with Seacom/Teams affected their service?

Dear Customer,

The Seacom service providers have confirmed the exact point of fault
as per below stated:

 Seacom update: As per the SMW4 Team, there is a fiber cut on Trans
Egypt Terrestrial part between Alexandria and Suez on Route-2. The
fault has been located 3.5 km from Alexandria. All the traffic didn’t
switch over to Route-1 due to a suspected equipment issue. The
equipment issue has been escalated to their vendor. The ETR to resolve
the fiber cut is 3 and a half hours from now.

We deeply regret the inconvenience this may be causing you and ask you
to bear with us as we work to resolve.

 We will keep you updated on the fault resolution
