Someone please help me here. Is SHENG slowly becoming an official language or sorts? My experience listening and doing small time analysis with the speakers tells me that the SHENG isn't universal. There are words which are region-specific and are not easily understood across the divide unless 'transported' to other regions.

Okay. I don't have anything against SHENG. It's just that I don't speak it. I am an old cat:)
